This tour is best suited for travellers with a general level of fitness. You should be comfortable with:

  • Climbing stairs or gentle inclines at heritage sites, monuments, and small hotels

Day 1 – Welcome to Scotland (D)

Arrive in Edinburgh, Scotland’s historic and cultural capital. After settling into your hotel, take some time to relax or explore the nearby area at your own pace. In the evening, we’ll come together for a welcome dinner and drinks at a charming local restaurant. It’s the perfect setting to meet your fellow travellers, share first impressions of Edinburgh, and hear more about the exciting journey ahead from your Luxury Women’s Tours hostess.

Day 2 – Exploring Edinburgh (B, D)

After breakfast, we meet a local city guide for a walking tour of Edinburgh’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site centred around the Royal Mile, which stretches from Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace. Hear stories of history, legends, and intrigue as we stroll through its cobbled streets.

The afternoon is free for you to explore as you wish — perhaps visit Edinburgh Castle, step aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, wander through world-class museums, or simply relax in one of the city’s charming pubs. Day 3 – Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park (B)

This morning, we leave the city and head north into the Scottish Highlands. Along the way, we stop at the William Wallace Monument, honouring Scotland’s national hero and patriot.

Continuing our journey, we arrive in the heart of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. In the afternoon, we visit a small Highland whisky distillery, learning about the traditional craft of making uisge beatha, “the water of life,” and enjoy a tasting. Afterward, we check in at our stunning lochside hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by Scotland’s natural beauty.

Day 4 – Hiking Conic Hill & Cruising Loch Lomond (B)

After breakfast, we set out to hike Conic Hill, a modest summit (358m) offering one of the most spectacular views in Scotland. The trail begins in shaded forest before opening up to sweeping panoramas across Loch Lomond and the surrounding Highlands — a rewarding walk at a relaxed pace.

In the afternoon, experience the loch from a new perspective with a scenic boat trip to the island of Inchcailloch. We’ll enjoy a short walk on this tranquil island, steeped in history and natural charm, before returning to our hotel to unwind and celebrate our Highland adventure.

Day 5 – Inveraray Castle & Ancient Kilmartin Glen (B)

This morning we journey west, travelling to the head of Loch Fyne to visit Inveraray Castle, seat of the Clan Campbell. With its grand architecture and fascinating history, the castle offers a glimpse into Scotland’s aristocratic past.

Later, we take an easy walk through Kilmartin Glen, one of the richest archaeological landscapes in Europe, home to ancient stone circles, burial cairns, and standing stones dating back thousands of years.

After a day filled with history and culture, we continue to our hotel, which boasts one of the finest views in Scotland.

Day 6 – Wildlife Sea Adventure & Easdale Island (B, L)

This morning we board a boat for a wildlife adventure along Scotland’s west coast. Keep watch for porpoises, dolphins, otters, sea eagles, and perhaps even whales, as our local skipper shares tales of Viking legends, Celtic saints, and shipwrecks. From a safe distance, we’ll also witness the dramatic Corryvreckan Whirlpool, one of the largest in the world.

Returning to shore, we continue to the tiny island of Easdale, known for its slate-mining heritage and as the quirky home of the World Stone Skimming Championships. After exploring this charming island, we return to our hotel for a relaxed evening overlooking the coast.

Day 7 – Discovering Glasgow (B, D)

After breakfast, we depart the west coast and travel to Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city and cultural powerhouse. Highlights include the impressive Glasgow Cathedral, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the historic University of Glasgow, and hidden gems of street art and local stories.

Day 8 – From Scotland to Belfast (B, L)

This morning we transfer to Glasgow Airport and take a short flight to Belfast, Northern Ireland’s vibrant capital. On arrival, we’ll enjoy an afternoon exploring the city’s maritime heritage with a visit to the award-winning Titanic Belfast Centre, where interactive exhibits bring the story of the world’s most famous ocean liner to life.

Depending on flight timings, there may be additional time to explore Belfast’s historic streets or relax at our centrally located hotel before dinner at leisure.

Day 9 – Coastal Foraging & Queen Maeve’s Cairn (B, L, D)

Later, we hike to Queen Maeve’s Cairn atop Knocknarea, an impressive passage tomb dating back over 5,000 years. The panoramic views across the Atlantic Ocean and Sligo Bay are some of the most breathtaking in Ireland.

In the evening, we continue on to Donegal Town and settle into our lakeside hotel, enjoying dinner together after a day of discovery.

Along the way, hear stories of the city’s history and meet the passionate producers behind the cuisine.

Day 13 – The Burren & County Clare (B, L)

In the afternoon, we visit a charming local perfumery, where fragrances are crafted from native plants and flowers inspired by the Burren itself — a delightful sensory experience. Later, we continue to our coastal hotel overlooking the Atlantic.

Please take the time to read and understand the booking terms and conditions prior to booking a trip with us.

Deposits and Payment Schedule

To join any of our captivating Luxury Women’s Tours (LWT) itineraries, a per-person deposit, tailored to your selected trip, is required to confirm and secure your reservation.

The final balance payment must be settled 90 days before your journey begins. If you book within this 90-day window, the full amount becomes due at the time of booking.

In case of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the trip’s start, a full refund is granted, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.

For cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the trip starts, your land component deposits become non-refundable, while all other payments are refunded, with non-refundable supplier or flight charges deducted.

Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.

All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Pricing

Published trip prices include all applicable taxes and are based on shared occupancy. Solo travelers are thoughtfully matched with roommates to avoid additional single supplement fees. Single supplements are available with a surcharge, subject to availability.

Please note that LWT is not responsible for fees related to currency exchange or charges imposed by your credit card company or bank for foreign currency transactions.

All Flight Booking Conditions

Be aware that terms, conditions, and cancellation fees imposed by flight carriers are applicable in accordance with the airline’s policies.

Cancellation by the Client

In case a Client needs to cancel their reservation, we request written notification sent to jamie@luxurywomenstours.com.au.

Upon receiving written confirmation of cancellation from LWT, your reserved spot on the trip will be released, and rebooking availability is not guaranteed.

Refund terms for client-initiated cancellations are as follows:

  • Over 90 days before the trip’s start: Full refund, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
  • Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the trip’s start: Land component deposits become non-refundable, with all other payments refunded, minus non-refundable supplier or flight charges.
  • Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
  • All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Credits

Credits are valid for use within the original year of the trip or the following calendar year, with a total validity period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

These credits can be transferred to another woman, who assumes responsibility for any outstanding balance payments and directly reimburses you for the deposit. However, the replacement participant must meet trip registration requirements and receive approval from LWT.

You can also apply your credits toward the final balance of another trip, provided the request is made at least 90 days before the trip’s start date. Additionally, you have the flexibility to transfer your credits to any other trip or cancel and reapply your credits as many times as needed before the 90-day mark before the trip date, all within the original credit expiry date. Please note that all credits are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Cancellation of a Tour by Luxury Women’s Tours

Our trips are confirmed to depart with a minimum group size booked. LWT reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, though cancellations less than 60 days before departure are rare, except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond LWT’s control.

If LWT cancels a tour before the agreed departure date for reasons other than Force Majeure or the fault of the Client, you have the following options:

  • Choose a substitute tour of equivalent or higher price, paying the difference.
  • Opt for a substitute tour of lower price, receiving the difference in price as a refund.
  • Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.

LWT is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the Client, such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, non-refundable parking, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
