So I’m sure if you are anything like me, you have a lot of questions, and right here is where you will find the answers you need in regards to destinations, insurances, safety, flights, cancellation refunds and everything else. If you still do not see your answer, please contact us and we will endeavour to get back to you within 24 hours max!

Q Refunds and cancellations?
A

With Borders opening and international travel ramping up, Luxury Women’s tours are offering full flexibility should your tour be postponed due to Covid-19. You will have a choice of the following:

*Receive a full refund, including any deposit paid.

*Option to re-book with our new proposed dates

*Option to change to an alternative tour (subject to availability, Tour price difference may apply)

Q What is your policy on safety?
A

Safety is the most important aspect for our tours.  I know as a woman, wife and Mother, it is so important to feel safe for ourselves and for our family to have piece of mind.  Our tours are designed with this in mind and carefully curated to ensure we all feel safe and are looked after. Most locations we will have the same private drivers for the entire trip and experienced and highly recommended tour guides to accompany us on our outings. The hotels we chose are chosen for the 24/7 security they offer. Even though we will often travel to exotic and far away places you can rest assured that every aspect of safety has been carefully considered.  No expenses are spared on this aspect of the tour to give you piece of mind. Prior to the tour, all details of hotels and tours will be sent to you and your family and contact details given.

Q What are the standards of the hotels we will be staying in and what is the security like?
A

We arrange luxury tour for our guests and all hotels and resort are 4 or 5 stars at minimum.  We choose top of the line luxury accommodation based on safe locations, security and safety.  Safety and security are the top priority for us, and we only use highly recommend accommodation.

Q Can I arrange to come on a tour with a friend?
A

Absolutely! We encourage this. Please let us know who you friend is so we can look out for their application and we can place you together in our accommodation.

Q Will I be able to explore on my own sometimes?
A

As our tours are fully guided and all-inclusive, we recommend and encourage you to join in, however, if you feel like having a day to yourself, that is absolutely fine.  We can assist you to find something that suits your needs for the day, or you can relax around the resort or hotel if you wish. Maybe a spa treatment?

Q Will I be able to charge my electrical appliances, are the plug outlets different?
A

Yes, you will be able to charge your appliances. You will most probably need an adapter to use international plugs and these are available at airports, travel shops and sometimes in the reception at the hotel to hire.

Q Will I be able to do laundry?
A

We do suggest packing, so you do not need to worry about this, however, there is usually time and facilities to do some laundry if required.  This will be at your own expense. Once on tour, please advise if you require to do some laundry and we can assist to arrange this for you.

Q What time is accommodation check in?
A

Check in time vary from place to place, our team will liaise with you prior to arrival and advise you of plans should your room be unavailable when you arrive.  The fact that we will have a booking in place, you will be able to use the hotel facilities and relax safely while you wait.

Q After arrival at the airport, how do I join the tour?
A

Please advise us of your arrival time and we will have our private driver meet you at the airport and transfer you to our LUX hotel. Depending on the other lady’s arrival times, you may travel to our hotel with other group members. This will only happen if you are arriving at similar times, we will not leave you waiting at the airport, do not worry.

Q Do I need to tip?
A

It depends on the destination,  if you feel like someone has gone out of their way to look after you or that they deserve something extra, you are absolutely welcome to tip extra at your discretion.

Q How should I carry my money?
A

We strongly suggest carrying a travel credit card with a spare in case you lose or damage one. Also, a small amount of cash is recommended to carry at all times as not everyplace accepts cred card. ATMs are everywhere these days so we will have the opportunity to take money out if required.

Please ensure you notify your bank that you will be travelling abroad and your destination. This will ensure they do not cancel your card when seeing foreign purchases.

Q How much spending money should I bring?
A

As our tours are all inclusive, the only spending money you should need is for personal expenditure.  Souvenirs, gifts, personal luxuries, snacks or leisure day food, any alcoholic drinks or tips you wish to make at your discretion. We will send you information on what we recommend you may need. You are of course welcome to bring as much or as little as you think you will require.

Q How many bags should I bring and what should I pack?
A

We recommend packing as lightly as possible for the tour.  Prior to the commencement, we will send you a detailed description of the weather expected and what we recommend for the activities we have planned.

Please bring only one large bag (23KG max) one cabin bag (7kg max) and a handbag for flights. We also recommend you bring a beach bag or a backpack that you can take exploring.

Q Do I need vaccinations?
A

If vaccinations are required, we will provide you with relevant information.

Q Do I need travel and medical insurance?
A

You will need travel insurance as well as medical insurance to attend one of our tours. This is for your own protection and safety while travelling abroad, you can arrange this online or through a travel agent. We will send you details of each city we will visit and all required information for the tour. You will also be required to send us a copy of your certificate of currency before you join the tour.

Q What do customs require me to have ready when I arrive at an airport?
A

When you enter customs, you are required to show your passport, visa, flight ticket and arrival or departure forms (usually found at the airport or given on the flight) Please ensure all names match and your passport has at least 6 months validity from the date of your return home. Ensure to check your destinations travel requirements before you leave.

Q Do I need to organise my own Visas?
A

Luxury Women’s Tours can assist with Visa information and application, however, Visas and the costs associated are the responsibility of yourself.

Q Can you cater to my dietary requirements?
A

Yes. We can cater to vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy intolerance. As we will be eating mostly in restaurants, it will usually be up to you to ensure you let restaurants and waitstaff know of your allergies and intolerances. Please ensure you bring snack in case of travel to remote areas where your requirements may not be able to be met. We will do our best to ensure you are well looked after and care is taken in every regard.

Q Can I have my own room?
A

Of course! This is always an option although extra fees are payable. If you require this option, please let us know as we will have to quote the difference as per destination. All displayed prices are for double occupancy.

Q Is My deposit refundable?
A

Unfortunately, No. A non-refundable deposit is payable to secure your spot on the tour after you are offered a place. If you cancel or pull out, unfortunately you will lose this deposit.

Q Are international flights included?
A

International flights are not included in the advertised tour price. However, if you do require assistance with booking your flight, we can definitely assist you with this. An extra fee is payable, and any airfares booked must be paid upfront and in advance of the tour. Please contact us if you wish to enquire about this service.

Q What is the Max Group size?
A

Max group size is 12 ladies. Our main aim is your comfort and security. We keep our tour groups small to ensure you are given ample attention by our staff and tour guides and you trip is as comfortable as possible.

Q How far in advance do we release tours?
A

We will always advertise our tours at least 6 months in advance before the commencement of any trip.  We recommend you apply as soon as possible for your preferred trip as places can fill fast and there are only 12 spots available per trip.
