Day 1: Sat 4th April 2026- Arrival to Johannesburg (D)

Enjoy your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival transfer to our airport hotel via shuttle.  A group welcome dinner later.

DAY 2 : Sunday 5th April 2026- Fly to Windhoek, Namibia (B, L, D)

Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport, your guide welcomes you to Namibia. After packing the vehicles you head out to explore Namibia.

Leaving Windhoek to the south, you drive to the Kalahari. This crossing-border desert forms the largest continuous sand surface on earth. The dunes of the Kalahari are covered in different vegetation such as grass, bushes and acacias. During the course of the afternoon, you reach your accommodation for the night, beautifully situated amongst the red dunes.

You head out on a scenic drive later this afternoon, enjoy the play of colors at sunset across the Kalahari before heading back for dinner at the lodge .

DAY 3- Monday 6th April 2026 – Namiba Outpost, Sossusvlei (B, L, D)

Early risers will be rewarded with a spectacular sunrise over the Kalahari. after a hearty breakfast you head out on a scenic drive.

Later in the morning, your journey continues through Mariental and Maltahöhe towards Sesriem.  Arriving in the afternoon, take a moment to unwind at the pool or on your terrace, fully embracing the serenity of the surroundings before heading out on a sunset drive.

Sossusvlei is where you will find the iconic red sand dunes of the Namib. The clear blue skies contrast with the giant red sand dunes to make this one of the natural wonders of Africa and a photographers heaven.

Aside from the attractions at Sossusvlei – Dune 45, Hiddenvlei, Big Daddy and Deadvlei – other attractions in the area include the Sesriem Canyon and Namib-Naukluft National Park, where the mountains of the Namib meet its plains.

Day 4- Tuesday 7th April 2026- Namib Outpost, Sossusvlei (B,L,D)

At sunrise the gates of the Namib Naukluft Park open and you make your way into the Sossusvlei area. If you are early and fit enough you can even climb one of the dunes and enjoy the impressive view of the entire landscape.

You will drive with the 4×4 vehicle to the Sossusvlei, which is a dry clay pan that only fills with water in years with a lot of rain. Thereafter you will continue to the Sesriem Canyon, formed by the Tsauchab River over millions of years.

After an eventful morning, you return to the lodge. Relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. When the day draws to a close, it is well worth to lean back and enjoy the view above you: Millions of stars, twinkling against the dark night sky.

DAY 5- Wednesday 8th April 2026 – Swakopmund (B)

Today’s journey takes you to the Atlantic Ocean. However, first you travel past the Bloedkoppie and along the Welwitschia Drive. Eventually you will reach several lookout points which will provide you with amazing views of the Moon Landscape.

You are invited to step out of the car and gaze over this strange and fascinating landscape of rugged and rocky peaks. It is an almost haunting, but at the same time also beautiful sight.

Thereafter, you will reach the town of Swakopmund, nestled between the ocean and the Namib Desert. A small city tour will help familiarise you with this heavily German influenced town. In the evening, you can try one of the many restaurants Swakopmund has to offer (own expense) – do not miss the seafood!

Day 6: Thursaday 9th April 2026- Swakopmund  (B,L)

After breakfast, you head south to meet your vehicles that will take you into the desert. You embark on a full day 4×4 experience down the coast from Walvis Bay direction Sandwich Harbor.

Sandwich Harbour, part of the Namib Naukluft Park, is a place many have heard of but very few have ever visited. The lagoon, salt pans and the bird sanctuary, which form the Walvis Bay Wetlands, are rightly heralded as the single most important coastal wetlands of Southern Africa. It is one of five Ramsar sites in Namibia. Giant sand dunes run straight into the ocean, creating breathtaking sceneries and unique landscapes.

Enjoy lunch on route before returning to Walvis Bay and then further on to Swakopmund for your second night.

Day 7- Friday 10th April 2026- Spitzkoppe (B,D)

Start the day by driving along the infamous Skeleton Coast of Namibia. Many a ship has run aground on this harsh stretch of coastline and you make a stop at one of these unfortunate ships, viewable from the shoreline.

You drive further along the coast until Cape Cross, where you are greeted by the sight of over two hundred thousand cape fur seals. An impressive sight! You head back down the coast to Henties Bay before turning inland direction the 700 million years old Spitzkoppe; its granite dome-like peaks (1,730 metres) can be seen already from a distance. Together with your guide you explore this impressive landscape and the fascinating granite rock formations found here.

Overnight: Spitzkoppen Lodge

Day 8: Saturday 11th April 2026- Twyfelfontein (B,L,D)

This morning after breakfast, with views over the Spitzkoppe its time to make your way into the Damaraland and Mowani Mountain lodge.

Dwarfed by massive ochre boulders, the camp is absorbed into the landscape, making it one with our shared history of life in this prehistoric land. Every soft curve or ragged edge frames the landscape in a different way, as if you are seeing for the first time, every time.

Arrive around mid day and enjoy lunch before heading out to visit the Damara Living Museum the first traditional Damara project in Namibia and the only one of its kind.

Return to camp in the late afternoon to enjoy sunset over the Damaraland.

Overnight: Mowani Mountain Camp

DAY 9- Sunday 12th April 2026- Twyfelfontein (B,L,D)

After an early morning breakfast, you will make your way to Twyfelfontein, Namibia’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site is famous for its collection of over 2 500 rock engravings, dating back to between 2 000 and 6 000 years ago. Your guide knows a location where the petroglyphs are well preserved, away from the main tourist locations.

You will then head into  the dry Huab riverbed in search of the rare desert elephants. During the drive you can enjoy the unique landscape of Damaraland and learn more about the local people and their way of life. With a bit of luck, you might see desert-adapted elephants, which are slightly smaller than their counterparts in Etosha National Park.

Head back to camp for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation in this rugged landscape. Explore the surrounds with your guide in the late afternoon on the walking trail around the lodge or head out again to look for the desert elephants. Dinner at the lodge.

Overnight: Mowani Mountain Camp

DAY 10 – Monday 13th April 2026- Etosha South (B,L,D)

The Damaraland covers a vast expanse of land in which there is much to see and do. After exploring the hinterland and the rock engravings of Twyfelfontein yesterday, you will visit the Petrified Forest today.

A local guide will show you tree trunks that are approximately 260 million years old. They have been petrified and now resemble stone. The site also provides an excellent opportunity to admire the national plant of Namibia, the Welwitschia mirabilis. It is generally agreed that many of these fascinating and bizarre looking desert plants are over a thousand years old.

Afterwards you carry on to the Etosha. You will want to keep the check-in and lunch brief though, because your first game drive in the Etosha National Park awaits. Keep your eyes wide open and spot some of the park’s inhabitants. As the evening rolls in, you return to your camp for a mouth-watering dinner.

Overnight Etosha Oberland Lodge

DAY 11 – Tuesday 14th April 2026- Etosha South, Safari (B,L,D)

Today, we embark on an unforgettable full-day safari through Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. As the sun rises, we set off in our tour vehicle, ready to explore the diverse landscapes and encounter an array of wildlife.

Etosha’s vast salt pan, golden grasslands, and scattered waterholes attract a stunning variety of animals. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the park’s famous predators—lions, cheetahs, and leopards—as they roam freely in their natural habitat. Our experienced guide will help us track sightings and share fascinating insights about the region’s unique ecosystem.

We pause at a scenic picnic spot within the park to enjoy a packed lunch, soaking in the beauty and stillness of the wilderness. In the afternoon, we continue our journey, visiting well-known waterholes where animals gather to drink, offering incredible wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.

As the day winds down, we return to the lodge in time for a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner.

Overnight Etosha Oberland Lodge

DAY 12 – Wednesday 15th April 2026- Etosha South (B, L,D)

Half day Etosha on game drive in the tour vehicle. Return to the lodge around mid day for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation around the large infinity pool which offers fantastic views of the open plain in front of the lodge and the two waterholes.

As the sun slowly drops over the horizon, it is wonderful to sit back in one of our small private seating islands and watch the spectacle of changing colors. Dinner at the lodge.

Overnight Etosha Oberland Lodge

DAY 13 – Thursday 16th April 2026 – Windhoek (B,D)

Enjoy one more spectacular sunrise overlooking the Namib bush. After a hearty breakfast you begin your return journey.

In Okahandja you have the opportunity to purchase some hand-made souvenirs from local woodcarvers’ market before continuing to Windhoek.

Once back in Namibia’s capital city, your guide will show you around Windhoek on a short city tour before heading to the hotel. This evening you will enjoy dinner at a local eatery Joe’s Beerhouse with your guides.

Overnight: The Weinberg Windhoek             

DAY 14: Friday 17th April 2026- Windhoek – Johannesburg (B)

One last breakfast as a group in Namibia. After breakfast your guides will transfer you to the airport where you say good-bye to Namibia with only the fondest of memories.

On arrival to Johannesburg, check in to your transit hotel, or make your way to your onward flight home.

Terms and Conditions of booking

Please take the time to read and understand the booking terms and conditions prior to booking a trip with us.

Deposits and Payment Schedule

To join any of our captivating Luxury Women’s Tours (LWT) itineraries, a per-person deposit, tailored to your selected trip, is required to confirm and secure your reservation.

The final balance payment must be settled 90 days before your journey begins. If you book within this 90-day window, the full amount becomes due at the time of booking.

In case of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the trip’s start, a full refund is granted, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.

For cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the trip starts, your land component deposits become non-refundable, while all other payments are refunded, with non-refundable supplier or flight charges deducted.

Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.

All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Pricing

Published trip prices include all applicable taxes and are based on shared occupancy. Solo travelers are thoughtfully matched with roommates to avoid additional single supplement fees. Single supplements are available with a surcharge, subject to availability.

Please note that LWT is not responsible for fees related to currency exchange or charges imposed by your credit card company or bank for foreign currency transactions.

All Flight Booking Conditions

Be aware that terms, conditions, and cancellation fees imposed by flight carriers are applicable in accordance with the airline’s policies.

Cancellation by the Client

In case a Client needs to cancel their reservation, we request written notification sent to jamie@luxurywomenstours.com.au.

Upon receiving written confirmation of cancellation from LWT, your reserved spot on the trip will be released, and rebooking availability is not guaranteed.

Refund terms for client-initiated cancellations are as follows:

  • Over 90 days before the trip’s start: Full refund, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
  • Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the trip’s start: Land component deposits become non-refundable, with all other payments refunded, minus non-refundable supplier or flight charges.
  • Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
  • All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Cancellation of a Tour by Luxury Women’s Tours

Our trips are confirmed to depart with a minimum group size booked. LWT reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, though cancellations less than 60 days before departure are rare, except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond LWT’s control.

If LWT cancels a tour before the agreed departure date for reasons other than Force Majeure or the fault of the Client, you have the following options:

  • Choose a substitute tour of equivalent or higher price, paying the difference.
  • Opt for a substitute tour of lower price, receiving the difference in price as a refund.
  • Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.

LWT is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the Client, such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, non-refundable parking, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
