Day 1 – Wednesday 1st October 2025- Arrival in Rome(D)

Welcome to Rome!

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your driver who will assist with your luggage and transfer you to your centrally located hotel. After checking in and settling into your accommodations, take the remainder of the day to relax and acclimate to the city. Whether you choose to unwind in your room or explore the local surroundings at your leisure, this is your time to enjoy the start of your Italian adventure. In the evening, join us for a delightful welcome dinner, where you’ll meet your fellow travelers and enjoy a delicious meal as we toast to the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2 – Thursday 2nd October 2025 – Rome · Assisi · Siena · Florence (B, D)

Departing from your hotel at 7:15 am, we’ll travel in a deluxe coach to the charming town of Assisi. Here, you’ll have the freedom to explore at your own pace, wandering through this medieval gem and visiting the Basilica of St. Francis to admire works by Giotto and Cimabue. Enjoy some time for lunch on your own before we hop back on the coach to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the Palio horse race around the iconic Piazza del Campo. From Siena, we’ll head to Florence, where you’ll check in at your hotel and then relax with a lovely dinner and a well-deserved rest for the night.

Day 3 – Friday 3rd October 2025 – Florence (B,L)

After breakfast, we’ll spend the day exploring the stunning city of Florence, renowned as the “Cradle of the Renaissance.” With its Etruscan-Roman origins and its transformation into a Renaissance masterpiece, Florence was a hub of art and culture, largely thanks to figures like Michelangelo.

Our guided tour will lead us through the city’s remarkable landmarks, starting with the Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo) and its magnificent dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi. We’ll also see the “Campanile” tower, partly designed by Giotto, and the Baptistery with its famous bronze doors, known as the “Gates of Paradise.”

We’ll explore the historic center together, visiting key sites such as Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Lunch will be at a traditional Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce. In the afternoon, you can choose to continue exploring Florence on your own or join an optional excursion to Pisa. If you opt for Pisa, we’ll visit the iconic Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli.

Dinner is at your leisure, and we’ll return to our hotel in Florence for a well-earned night’s rest.

Day 4 – Saturday 4th October 2025 – Florence · Bologna · Padua · Venice (B)

After breakfast in Florence, we’ll set off for Bologna. Upon arrival, we’ll dive into the charm of this elegant city, known for its iconic “porticos” and bustling shopping streets. Our tour will take us from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore, right in the heart of the city. We’ll visit King Renzo’s Palace, Palazzo Podestà, and the impressive Basilica of San Petronio, one of the largest churches in the world.

Bologna is a food lover’s paradise, so don’t miss the chance to enjoy a delicious meal at your leisure. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our journey to Padova, where we’ll explore the famous Basilica of Sant’Antonio, a major pilgrimage site for Catholics.

Later in the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Venice (Mestre), check in at our hotel, and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 5 – Sunday 5th October 2025 – Venice (B,L)

After breakfast, enjoy your transfer to Piazza San Marco, where we’ll visit the most iconic places of the “Floating City.” Our guided tour will take you to the Palazzo dei Dogi, a symbol of Venice’s glorious past, and the legendary Bridge of Sighs.

Following the walking tour, allow us to treat you to a spritz or prosecco as a delightful conclusion to your visit to the highlights of Venice. While you sit comfortably and savor your drink, you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a taste of the famous “cicchetti,” a Venetian variation of tapas (light lunch).

Spend the afternoon roaming along Venice’s canals at your leisure and then return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6 – Monday 6th October 2025 – Venice · Tuscany Wine Region (Montepulciano) · Rome(B,L)

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Tuscany, renowned for its picturesque landscapes, historic churches and castles, and exquisite wines. Our first stop is Montepulciano, a medieval town brimming with history and art. Famous for its “Nobile” wine, available at local wine houses, Montepulciano also offers breathtaking panoramic views and a rich cultural heritage.

Enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant included in the tour! After lunch, you’ll have some free time to explore on your own. In the evening, we’ll continue our journey and arrive back in Rome to check in to your hotel.

Day 7 – Tuesday 7th October 2025 – Rome (B)

After breakfast, we’ll depart from the hotel for our included tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Square, with exclusive “Skip the Line” access! There’s no need to stress about reaching the area—your guide will lead you directly into the museums. Here, you’ll explore one of the world’s most important art collections, including the stunning Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps, Raphael’s Rooms, and the breathtaking Sistine Chapel.

Following this awe-inspiring experience, the tour concludes at St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world. After the tour, enjoy the rest of the day to explore the city at your leisure

Day 8 – Wednesday 8th October 2025 – Rome, Free Day (B)

After breakfast, the day is yours to explore Rome at your own pace. With so much to see and do, you have the freedom to tailor your day to your interests. You might choose to visit iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, or the Pantheon. Wander through charming neighborhoods like Trastevere, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local trattoria.

For art enthusiasts, a visit to the Borghese Gallery or the National Museum of Rome could be captivating. If you’re interested in shopping, head to Via del Corso or Via Condotti for some retail therapy. Alternatively, relax at one of Rome’s beautiful squares, such as Piazza Navona or Piazza di Spagna, and take in the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

Don’t forget to indulge in some gelato and coffee at a local café. Enjoy your free day discovering the magic of Rome on your own terms.

Day 9 – Thursday 9th October 2025 – Rome · Naples · Pompeii · Sorrento (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we’ll depart from our hotel around 7:00 am. Board our comfortable coach as we head south, crossing the regions of Lazio and Campania. Upon arrival in Naples, we’ll start with a short panoramic tour, climbing to Vomero Hill for breathtaking views over the Gulf of Naples, including sights of Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia, Procida, and the bustling city below. This is a perfect opportunity for some memorable photos.

We’ll then descend towards the port of Mergellina and continue our journey south to Mount Vesuvius. Upon reaching Pompeii, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch featuring authentic Neapolitan pizza. After lunch, we’ll enter the remarkable archaeological site of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with Skip the Line access and a guided tour.

Explore the haunting ruins of Pompeii, a city frozen in time since the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Discover how the residents lived, visit ancient homes and “bars,” and admire the well-preserved frescoes and mosaics that depict the city’s former grandeur.

Following the tour, we’ll drive along the scenic Sorrentine Coast, arriving in Sorrento. Enjoy a delightful dinner and settle into your new hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 10 – Friday 10th October 2025- Sorrento · Capri · Sorrento (B,D)

After breakfast, prepare for an exciting excursion to the island of Capri, one of the Mediterranean’s most exclusive summer destinations! Weather and sea conditions permitting, you’ll have the chance to explore the enchanting Blue Grotto on a small rowboat.

After this magical experience, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch (not included) and explore the island at your own pace.

Once you return to the mainland, head back to the hotel in Sorrento for dinner and your final overnight stay.

Day 11 – Saturday 11th October 2025 – Sorrento · Palermo (Overnight on ferry boat) (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Sorrento. In the afternoon, make your way to the port of Naples, where you’ll board the Tirrenia/Snav ferry to Palermo. As you set sail, let the gentle waves rock you to sleep. Please note that dinner and breakfast are not included on the ferry and must be purchased on board on own account.

Day 12 – Sunday 12th October 2025 – Palermo (D)

Upon arriving in Palermo, you’ll transfer to your hotel and check in. Take the rest of the day to unwind and relax after your journey. Enjoy a delightful dinner at the hotel and get a good night’s rest, preparing for the exciting adventures that await you on the tour.

Day 13 – Monday 13th October 2025 – Palermo (B,D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then set off on a morning excursion to Monreale, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. This ancient royal town is renowned for its almonds, olive oil, citrus fruits, and stunning Norman architecture. Visit the elaborate Monreale Cathedral, and take some time to shop for local delicacies and souvenirs.

Return to Palermo for an afternoon walking tour of the city. Explore the charming streets of the Old Town, uncovering Palermo’s rich 3,000-year history. Discover highlights such as the Palermo Cathedral, where you can marvel at its impressive arches, cupolas, and mosaics, reflecting a blend of cultural influences from the island’s varied dominations.

Enjoy some free time in the late afternoon before heading back to your hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Palermo.

Day 14 – Tuesday 14th October 2025 – Palermo · Erice · Saline della Laguna, Agrigento(B,L,D)

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Erice, a medieval village perched on Monte San Giuliano. With its labyrinthine lanes and timeless charm, Erice offers a delightful morning stroll that feels like stepping back in time.

Next, head to the Saline della Laguna, a fascinating lagoon where history, nature, and archaeology come together. Explore the area and experience its unique features.

Proceed to Marsala, renowned for its Marsala wine. Here, you’ll enjoy a sensorial experience at a traditional tavern, savoring regional products during a light yet memorable lunch.

In the afternoon, continue your journey to Agrigento. Visit the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring Ancient Greek monuments. Explore iconic ruins such as the Temple of Concord, the Temple of Hercules, and the Temple of Jupiter, one of the largest Doric-style buildings.

Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before setting off for Ragusa. Explore the enchanting historical center of Ibla, renowned for its stunning baroque palaces and churches. As one of the eight cities in the Val di Noto listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ragusa offers a rich tapestry of architectural beauty.

Visit the old gate of San Giorgio, wander through the Giardini Iblei, and head to Piazza Pola. Here, admire the Church of San Giuseppe, a charming gem in its own right. Marvel at the elegant Cathedral of San Giorgio, the Church of the Souls in Purgatory, and the magnificent Cosentini Palace, a notable example of Late Baroque architecture in Sicily.

Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Continue along the stunning southern coast to Syracuse, located on Sicily’s southeastern tip. Upon arrival, cross one of the city’s bridges to explore the island of Ortygia, the oldest part of Syracuse. Here, you’ll discover a wealth of Baroque churches and medieval palaces.

In the late afternoon, travel to Taormina, where you’ll check in to your hotel. Enjoy a delightful dinner and relax for the evening.

Day 17 – Friday 19th September – Taormina (B, D)

After breakfast at your centrally located hotel, embark on a journey to Mount Etna, Europe’s largest active volcano and Italy’s highest mountain. Explore the dramatic volcanic landscape, including ancient lava fields and striking black magma rock. Weather permitting, you may have the opportunity to ascend to the summit at 1,800 meters.

In the afternoon, return to Taormina, the picturesque town perched on Mount Tauro. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure, soaking in the charm and beauty of this romantic destination. Overnight in Taormina.

Deposits and Payment Schedule

To join any of our captivating Luxury Women’s Tours (LWT) itineraries, a per-person deposit, tailored to your selected trip, is required to confirm and secure your reservation.

The final balance payment must be settled 90 days before your journey begins. If you book within this 90-day window, the full amount becomes due at the time of booking.

In case of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the trip’s start, a full refund is granted, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.

For cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the trip starts, your land component deposits become non-refundable, while all other payments are refunded, with non-refundable supplier or flight charges deducted.

Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.

All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Pricing

Published trip prices include all applicable taxes and are based on shared occupancy. Solo travelers are thoughtfully matched with roommates to avoid additional single supplement fees. Single supplements are available with a surcharge, subject to availability.

Please note that LWT is not responsible for fees related to currency exchange or charges imposed by your credit card company or bank for foreign currency transactions.

All Flight Booking Conditions

Be aware that terms, conditions, and cancellation fees imposed by flight carriers are applicable in accordance with the airline’s policies.

Cancellation by the Client

In case a Client needs to cancel their reservation, we request written notification sent to jamie@luxurywomenstours.com.au.

Upon receiving written confirmation of cancellation from LWT, your reserved spot on the trip will be released, and rebooking availability is not guaranteed.

Refund terms for client-initiated cancellations are as follows:

  • Over 90 days before the trip’s start: Full refund, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
  • Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the trip’s start: Land component deposits become non-refundable, with all other payments refunded, minus non-refundable supplier or flight charges.
  • Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
  • All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Credits

Credits are valid for use within the original year of the trip or the following calendar year, with a total validity period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

These credits can be transferred to another woman, who assumes responsibility for any outstanding balance payments and directly reimburses you for the deposit. However, the replacement participant must meet trip registration requirements and receive approval from LWT.

You can also apply your credits toward the final balance of another trip, provided the request is made at least 90 days before the trip’s start date. Additionally, you have the flexibility to transfer your credits to any other trip or cancel and reapply your credits as many times as needed before the 90-day mark before the trip date, all within the original credit expiry date. Please note that all credits are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Cancellation of a Tour by Luxury Women’s Tours

Our trips are confirmed to depart with a minimum group size booked. LWT reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, though cancellations less than 60 days before departure are rare, except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond LWT’s control.

If LWT cancels a tour before the agreed departure date for reasons other than Force Majeure or the fault of the Client, you have the following options:

  • Choose a substitute tour of equivalent or higher price, paying the difference.
  • Opt for a substitute tour of lower price, receiving the difference in price as a refund.
  • Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.

LWT is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the Client, such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, non-refundable parking, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
