Our staff will be waiting for you at the airport and will transfer you from the Athens airport, it is approximately a 45 minute drive to your hotel.

Home of Plato, Socrates, Pericles, Euripides, Sophocles, Aeschylus. Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities. Full of things to see and do, Athens is the first stop of this amazing trip.

Day 2: 27th Sep 2024– Athens sightseeing and walking food tour (B,L, D)
Start your day with an engaging morning of sightseeing in Athens. Your knowledgeable guide will provide insights into Athens’ role throughout history, from antiquity to the present. You’ll explore the marvels of the Acropolis, including the Parthenon, the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, and the Kallimarmaro Stadium, which was constructed entirely of marble for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Experience the ancient wonders and revisit the birthplace of democracy as you navigate the narrow streets of the Plaka district, discovering historic sites, charming cafes, and shops filled with character.
After your visit to the Acropolis, continue to the Acropolis Museum. This modern museum, which opened in 2009, houses extraordinary artifacts from the Acropolis.
Enjoy a break for lunch and relax in the afternoon.

After enjoying a delightful breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kalambaka, which will take approximately four hours. Enroute we stop at the Archaeological Museum of Thebes and Kamena Vourla for lunch (own cost).
After hotel check in, embark on a short drive to a captivating vantage point known for its breathtaking sunset vistas. From this spot, you’ll be treated to an unparalleled panoramic view that stretches as far as the eye can see, offering ample opportunities to capture stunning photographs that will undoubtedly become cherished memories.

Enroute, we stop at Smokovo Lake for coffee and morning tea (own cost)
Upon reaching Delphi, Lunch at a local tavern and then you’ll check in to the charming Amalia Delphi hotel. After getting settled, it’s time to embark on an exciting excursion to the enchanting port town of Galaxidi, located just a short 30-minute drive from Delphi. Galaxidi is known for its picturesque harbor and charming atmosphere.
In Galaxidi, you’ll have the unique opportunity to participate in a delightful pie-making cooking class, hosted by a local. This immersive experience allows you to not only taste the flavours of the region but also to actively engage in the culinary traditions of the area. By preparing food together, you’ll get a firsthand experience of the local culture and the importance of food in bringing people together. The hospitality of your host will make this cooking class even more memorable and enjoyable.
As you create your own pie under the guidance of your knowledgeable host, you’ll learn about the traditional techniques and ingredients used in Greek cuisine. Day 6: 1st Oct 2024 – Sightseeing Delphi , Drive to Nafplion with Rack railway (B)
Begin your morning with an exciting exploration of Ancient Delphi, an archaeological site renowned as one of the most famous oracles of the ancient world. Located at the foot of the mountain, Delphi’s Pan Hellenic sanctuary awaits your discovery. Embark on a scenic walk, starting from the site and taking in the breathtaking surroundings.
As you venture forth, you’ll pass by the Castalia Spring, a sacred fountain revered for its purity and significance in ancient Greek mythology. Continuing your journey, immerse yourself in the rich history and mythology as you visit various landmarks within the archaeological site. Marvel at the monument of the Argive Kings, an impressive structure that pays homage to the ancient rulers. Admire the treasury of the Athenians, a testament to their wealth and devotion to the gods.
After the enriching experience at Delphi, embark on a scenic drive that will take approximately three hours. Pass through the Corinthian Bay, crossing over the cable bridge, and continue to Diakopto. We have lunch at a local restaurant in Diakopto.
After lunch, board the rack railway, embarking on a mesmerizing journey through the awe-inspiring Voraikos Gorge. As you traverse this magnificent landscape, take in the breathtaking views that unfold before your eyes during the one-hour rail journey.
Take a short break in Kalavryta for a refreshing cup of coffee and bite to eat at your leisure, allowing you to recharge before continuing your journey. From there, drive for approximately two hours to reach the picturesque town of Nafplio, where you will spend the next two nights. Along the way, you’ll make a stop at a traditional tavern in the charming village of Levidi, where you’ll have the opportunity to savour a delicious dinner.
Immerse yourself in the warm atmosphere and indulge in the flavours of the local cuisine, experiencing the culinary delights that showcase the region’s traditional dishes.

After checking in to your hotel , transfer into Mykonos town for a walk of the narrow streets of this world famous port. Enjoy local tastes on the walk and get a better understanding of the local life. Enjoy dinner at a local hotspot!

Day 9: 4th Oct 2024 – Mykonos – Delos Island (B)
In the morning, prepare for a highlight of your tour as you visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Delos Island. Begin your day by being picked up from your hotel and transferred to the port. From there, embark on a local boat excursion that will take you to the captivating island of Delos.
Delos holds great significance as a prominent religious and economic centre in ancient times. As you arrive on the island, prepare to be immersed in its rich history and mythology. Delos is renowned as the sacred birthplace of the twin deities, Apollo, the god of light, and Artemis, the goddess of the hunt. Immerse yourself in the lively party scenes, relax on the sandy shores, and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. As you soak up the sun and enjoy the beach ambiance, you’ll discover that the day in Mykonos can be as long as you desire.
If you’re in the mood for some adventure, you could also consider engaging in water sports activities offered at the beaches. From jet skiing to parasailing, there are thrilling options to satisfy your sense of adventure and add excitement to your day.

Day 11: 6th Oct 2024- Mykonos- Santorini (B,D)
Today travel south from the island of Mykonos to the island of Santorini. A boat journey across the beautiful Aegean sea. As you approach Santorini from the water, it’s hard not to be awed by the sheer cliffs that soar above a turquoise sea, by the fact that you’re sailing in an immense crater of a drowned volcano and that before you lies an island shaped by an ancient eruption.
Arrive in Santorini and transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Take the time to explore the island, considered one of the top destinations worldwide. Amazing views, unique landscapes are the key highlights of the island.
Tonight transfer from your hotel to the beautiful village of Oia (the most photographed of all Santorini) to enjoy a walk of the town and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 12: 7th Oct 2024– Santorini beaches and Akrotiri excavations (B)

Every step of the way, you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views that will leave you speechless, and it’s one of the rare spots on the island where you can enjoy a sense of solitude.
In the afternoon, prepare for a truly special experience as you embark on a cruise aboard a catamaran for our special farewell dinner. Sail along the Santorini caldera, immersing yourself in the stunning beauty of the island’s volcanic landscapes. Marvel at the rugged cliffs, the azure waters, and the picturesque coastal villages that dot the coastline.
As the sun begins to set, the captain will anchor the catamaran at a spectacular spot, providing you with an unrivalled vantage point to witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Deposits and Payment Schedule
To join any of our captivating Luxury Women’s Tours (LWT) itineraries, a per-person deposit, tailored to your selected trip, is required to confirm and secure your reservation.
The final balance payment must be settled 90 days before your journey begins. If you book within this 90-day window, the full amount becomes due at the time of booking.
In case of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the trip’s start, a full refund is granted, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
For cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the trip starts, your land component deposits become non-refundable, while all other payments are refunded, with non-refundable supplier or flight charges deducted.
Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.
Pricing
Published trip prices include all applicable taxes and are based on shared occupancy. Solo travelers are thoughtfully matched with roommates to avoid additional single supplement fees. Single supplements are available with a surcharge, subject to availability.
Please note that LWT is not responsible for fees related to currency exchange or charges imposed by your credit card company or bank for foreign currency transactions.
All Flight Booking Conditions
Be aware that terms, conditions, and cancellation fees imposed by flight carriers are applicable in accordance with the airline’s policies.
Cancellation by the Client
In case a Client needs to cancel their reservation, we request written notification sent to jamie@luxurywomenstours.com.au.
Upon receiving written confirmation of cancellation from LWT, your reserved spot on the trip will be released, and rebooking availability is not guaranteed.
Refund terms for client-initiated cancellations are as follows:
- Over 90 days before the trip’s start: Full refund, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
- Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the trip’s start: Land component deposits become non-refundable, with all other payments refunded, minus non-refundable supplier or flight charges.
- Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
- All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.
Credits
Credits are valid for use within the original year of the trip or the following calendar year, with a total validity period of 24 months from the date of issuance.
These credits can be transferred to another woman, who assumes responsibility for any outstanding balance payments and directly reimburses you for the deposit. However, the replacement participant must meet trip registration requirements and receive approval from LWT.
You can also apply your credits toward the final balance of another trip, provided the request is made at least 90 days before the trip’s start date. Additionally, you have the flexibility to transfer your credits to any other trip or cancel and reapply your credits as many times as needed before the 90-day mark before the trip date, all within the original credit expiry date. Please note that all credits are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Cancellation of a Tour by Luxury Women’s Tours
Our trips are confirmed to depart with a minimum group size booked. LWT reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, though cancellations less than 60 days before departure are rare, except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond LWT’s control.
If LWT cancels a tour before the agreed departure date for reasons other than Force Majeure or the fault of the Client, you have the following options:
- Choose a substitute tour of equivalent or higher price, paying the difference.
- Opt for a substitute tour of lower price, receiving the difference in price as a refund.
- Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.
LWT is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the Client, such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, non-refundable parking, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
