DAY 1 – Arrive in Casablanca, Head to Rabat (D)

Upon our arrival in Morocco today, a JBT driver will be there to greet us after we’ve successfully cleared customs. Our journey begins as we head to Rabat for our first night in this captivating country. En route, we’ll make a stop in Casablanca to explore some of the city’s intriguing sites, including the magnificent Hassan II Mosque and the enlightening Jewish Heritage Museum.

Once we reach Rabat, we’ll come together for a warm and hearty welcome dinner at our cozy Riad.

Rest and rejuvenate for the adventures that await at Dar Shaan Rabat, ensuring a restful night as we embark on this exciting journey.

Overnight Dar Al Mirajj

DAY 2 – Chefchaouen (B, D)

After breakfast, our day kicks off with a visit to some of Rabat’s treasures, including the Chellah Gardens, Oudayas Kasbah, and the iconic Hassan Tower. These cultural and historical landmarks provide a rich introduction to Morocco’s vibrant heritage.

Following our exploration, we’ll journey northwards, into the breathtaking Rif Mountains, where you’ll encounter the enchanting “Blue Town” of Chefchaouen. This charming place is renowned for its unique blue-hued architecture that graces the streets and buildings.

Here, you’ll have the freedom to explore the main square, browse the various souks, or simply unwind and savor the tranquility of your Riad. As evening approaches, a delectable dinner will be served, promising a flavorful end to a day filled with new experiences.

Overnight: Dar Jasmine

DAY 3 – Chefchaouen (B)

Prepare your camera for a day of capturing the enchanting allure of Chefchaouen, a town that has garnered fame on Instagram for its photogenic charm. Following a delicious breakfast, you’ll embark on a private half-day tour, immersing yourself in the town’s rich history, including its Spanish and Jewish heritage.

After the tour, take a leisurely break for lunch before embarking on a short walk to the Spanish Mosque, where you can relish panoramic views of this blue-washed gem.

The afternoon and evening are yours to explore Chefchaouen at your own pace, whether it’s meandering through its captivating streets, indulging in local cuisine, or simply absorbing the serene ambiance.

DAY 4 – Roman Ruins of Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Fez (B,L,D)

Today, a day of cultural exploration awaits after a hearty breakfast. Our journey begins with a visit to the awe-inspiring Roman ruins of Volubilis, where the echoes of ancient civilizations linger in the air. From there, we proceed to the sacred town of Moulay Idriss, a place deeply woven into Morocco’s spiritual tapestry.

A highlight of the day awaits as we enjoy a special lunch at the private Scorpion House, promising a truly unique and memorable culinary experience.

Continuing our expedition, we venture to the often overlooked gem of Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Here, history unfolds in the form of intricate architecture and fascinating tales.

In the afternoon, we make our way to the vibrant city of Fez, where you’ll have the opportunity to settle into your riad and delve into the heart of the medina, a labyrinth of wonders waiting to be discovered.

Anticipate a delightful evening as a lovely dinner awaits, promising flavors that reflect the richness of Moroccan cuisine.

DAY 5 – Fez (B, L)

Today, the enchanting UNESCO-protected Fez Medina awaits your exploration, and you’re in for a unique experience as you discover the city through the eyes of a knowledgeable local guide. We’ll pause for a delightful lunch, allowing you to refuel for more adventures.

This captivating tour includes visits to some of the most memorable sites within the medina, such as the Fondouk Nejjarine, the Jewish quarters, the vibrant tanneries, and the bustling craft souks. Each stop is a window into the rich tapestry of Moroccan culture and craftsmanship.

After a day of exploration, you’ll have a free evening to continue your Fez discoveries, whether it’s meandering through the labyrinthine streets, sampling local cuisine, or simply absorbing the atmosphere.

DAY 6 – Fez (B,L)

Get ready for a fun and busy morning of slicing, dicing, and chopping your way through a traditional Moroccan meal. This laidback affair is a great opportunity to have some fun, take some photos, and at the end, enjoy a delicious, traditional Moroccan meal that you have helped prepare.

After lunch, you will have some free time in the afternoon. For many travelers, spending some time on their own wandering the medieval medina of Fez is a treat. The medina is thought to be the world’s largest pedestrian-only zone, and it’s a great place for flâneurs and photographers alike to explore and take in the sights and sounds of this historic city.

DAY 7 – Middle Atlas, Ziz Valley Oasis, and Erfoud (B,L,D)

Today, your journey takes you out of the Middle Atlas Mountains and onwards through Midelt, into Tafilalet, a region that boasts the expansive Ziz Valley oasis. Along the way, you will cross three of Morocco’s mountain ranges: Middle Atlas, High Atlas, and Anti-Atlas. The constantly changing geography is one of the highlights of this road trip.

In the Middle Atlas, you can take a break to stroll through the world’s largest cedar forest and meet the local macaque monkeys. As you arrive at the Ziz Valley, you will be greeted by your local guide, who will take you on a short walking tour of the area. The valley is known for its rich agricultural land, filled with date palms and small farmsteads. You will then be treated to a delicious lunch at your guide’s humble family home.

After lunch, you will continue your journey to Erfoud, where you can rest and recharge for tomorrow’s adventure.

Dinner and overnight at La Rose du Desert

DAY 8 – Erg Chebbi (Sahara Desert) (B,L,D)

Today, you’ll leave Erfoud and journey towards Morocco’s magnificent Sahara Desert. This day is likely to be one of the highlights of your trip as you enter the golden dunes of Morocco. Before arriving in Merzouga, you’ll have the chance to explore the towns of Erfoud and Rissani. Once you arrive in Merzouga, you’ll be treated to a special lunch prepared by local women who are eager to share their local cuisine.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll climb aboard a 4×4 and head out into the region’s golden dunes. You’ll have the opportunity to settle into your luxury tent before embarking on a sunset camel ride. After the ride, we’ll return to the encampment for a delicious dinner accompanied by music around the campfire. And as you look up at the sky, you’ll be able to take in the spectacular sight of millions of stars overhead. Enjoy this magical night in the desert!

Dinner and overnight: Camp Madu

DAY 9 – Tinjedad, Skoura (Valley of Kasbahs) (B, D)

Following a nourishing breakfast and check-out, we bid farewell to the mesmerizing golden dunes and continue our journey towards Tinjedad, a quaint town nestled along the roadside. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a local Berber-history museum, known not only for its historical insights but also for serving excellent lunches that will please your palate.

As we drive through the enchanting Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs, our journey unveils more treasures. We make a stop at the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll and relish the fresh mountain air. Alternatively, we may explore Kelaat Mgouna, also known as Rose Valley, offering a fragrant and colorful experience.

In the evening, a delightful dinner is included at your accommodation, ensuring a flavorful end to the day.

Dinner and overnight: Ksar El Kabbaba

DAY 10 – Skoura (Valley of Kasbahs) (B,L,D) Free day

Today is yours to revel in, a day to unwind and reflect on your extraordinary journey.

Nestled amidst a verdant palm grove, surrounded by ancient olive trees, this idyllic spot embodies the essence of Morocco’s beauty. Here, you can immerse yourself in the unmatched hospitality of the region, a true testament to its charm. The backdrop is adorned with countless kasbahs, some standing proudly through time, others gracefully succumbing to the embrace of history. Each one paints a vivid and mesmerizing picture.

Alternatively, you might choose to spend your day by the tranquil pool, finally delving into the travel literature that has been patiently waiting, offering adventures between the pages.

Overnight  Ksar El Kabbaba

DAY 11 – Ait Ben Haddou, and Marrakesh (B, D)

Today’s journey leads you to Ouarzazate, a place where history and cinematic allure merge. You’ll begin your exploration with a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, a fortress once under the dominion of the influential Glaoui family, who held sway over southern Morocco.

Additionally, you’ll have the option to pause at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a historical treasure celebrated not only for its cultural significance but also renowned as a backdrop for numerous Hollywood films.

Your day continues as you traverse the breathtaking Tiz n’ Tichka pass, a winding path that navigates through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, each turn unveiling a more mesmerizing panorama on the way to Marrakesh.

As today promises a wealth of experiences, you’ll be welcomed back with a homemade dinner at your accommodation, where you can savor the flavors of Morocco as you reflect on your eventful day.

DAY 12 – Marrakesh (B, L)

Today, you’re in for an enriching experience in the heart of Marrakesh. A private guided tour awaits you as you delve into the vibrant Medina. Your journey will lead you to the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the historic Jewish Mellah. As you navigate the streets, you’ll have the chance to explore the colorful souks, each with its own unique crafts and storied history.  Enjoy a delectable lunch included along the way.

Overnight: Riad Adore

DAY 13 – Marrakesh-Free day (B,D)

You will have the entire day to yourself in Marrakesh, during which there will be numerous optional activities available. We recommend visiting some of the city’s gardens, such as the Majorelle and Menara Gardens, or the Cactus and Saffron gardens, which are further away but equally beautiful.

Later in the evening, we will take you on a street food tour that is a veritable gastronomic celebration and culminates in one of the most magnificent events of all: the legendary Jemma el-Fnaa main square of Marrakesh, where festivities have been ongoing for more than a thousand and one years.

Overnight:  Riad Adore

DAY 14 – Marrakesh – Essaouira (B, L , D)

After a satisfying breakfast, we embark on a journey towards the captivating South Atlantic Coast of Morocco, destined for the charming town of Essaouira, often affectionately called the “Red City.” As we traverse the scenic route, you’ll likely spot goats perched in trees, though it’s essential to note that many of these delightful encounters are primarily for photo moments. In truth, these goats possess a unique ability to climb trees in search of the coveted argan nut.

Tonight, your dinner will be thoughtfully prepared and served at your accommodation for the evening, ensuring you end the day on a delightful note.

Overnight Riad Mimouna

DAY 15 – Essaouira to High Atlas Mountains (B, D)

Essaouira has long been a haven for artists and musicians, once a key stop on Morocco’s “Hippy Trail,” where creatives sought inspiration by the sea. Today, it has evolved into a foodie hotspot. Begin your day with a guided tour of this charming coastal city, delving into its rich history influenced by Roman, Portuguese, Jewish, and Muslim cultures. Be sure to sample its renowned culinary delights before setting off for the High Atlas Mountains.

As you journey through the scenic landscape, you’ll pass fascinating villages and cooperatives crafting everything from handblown tea cups made from recycled glass to exquisite textiles woven by families who have upheld their craft for generations. If time permits, enjoy a visit to one of our favorite cooperatives along the way!

DAY 16 – High Atlas Mountains (B, D)
This morning, venture into Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, specifically the stunning Toubkal National Park. Enjoy a hike tailored to your preferences, energy levels, and the day’s weather, taking in the breathtaking landscapes along the way.
After some well-deserved relaxation at this beautiful retreat, we’ll come together for a memorable farewell feast to celebrate the journey!

DAY 17 – Check-out –Drive to Marrakesh-  Departures. (B)

After Breakfast, We drive back to Marrakesh airport (2.5hrs) to connect with your flight home.

Please take the time to read and understand the booking terms and conditions prior to booking a trip with us.

Deposits and Payment Schedule

To join any of our captivating Luxury Women’s Tours (LWT) itineraries, a per-person deposit, tailored to your selected trip, is required to confirm and secure your reservation.

The final balance payment must be settled 90 days before your journey begins. If you book within this 90-day window, the full amount becomes due at the time of booking.

In case of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the trip’s start, a full refund is granted, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.

For cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the trip starts, your land component deposits become non-refundable, while all other payments are refunded, with non-refundable supplier or flight charges deducted.

Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.

All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Pricing

Published trip prices include all applicable taxes and are based on shared occupancy. Solo travelers are thoughtfully matched with roommates to avoid additional single supplement fees. Single supplements are available with a surcharge, subject to availability.

Please note that LWT is not responsible for fees related to currency exchange or charges imposed by your credit card company or bank for foreign currency transactions.

All Flight Booking Conditions

Be aware that terms, conditions, and cancellation fees imposed by flight carriers are applicable in accordance with the airline’s policies.

Cancellation by the Client

In case a Client needs to cancel their reservation, we request written notification sent to jamie@luxurywomenstours.com.au.

Upon receiving written confirmation of cancellation from LWT, your reserved spot on the trip will be released, and rebooking availability is not guaranteed.

Refund terms for client-initiated cancellations are as follows:

  • Over 90 days before the trip’s start: Full refund, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
  • Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the trip’s start: Land component deposits become non-refundable, with all other payments refunded, minus non-refundable supplier or flight charges.
  • Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
  • All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Credits

Credits are valid for use within the original year of the trip or the following calendar year, with a total validity period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

These credits can be transferred to another woman, who assumes responsibility for any outstanding balance payments and directly reimburses you for the deposit. However, the replacement participant must meet trip registration requirements and receive approval from LWT.

You can also apply your credits toward the final balance of another trip, provided the request is made at least 90 days before the trip’s start date. Additionally, you have the flexibility to transfer your credits to any other trip or cancel and reapply your credits as many times as needed before the 90-day mark before the trip date, all within the original credit expiry date. Please note that all credits are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Cancellation of a Tour by Luxury Women’s Tours

Our trips are confirmed to depart with a minimum group size booked. LWT reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, though cancellations less than 60 days before departure are rare, except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond LWT’s control.

If LWT cancels a tour before the agreed departure date for reasons other than Force Majeure or the fault of the Client, you have the following options:

  • Choose a substitute tour of equivalent or higher price, paying the difference.
  • Opt for a substitute tour of lower price, receiving the difference in price as a refund.
  • Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.

LWT is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the Client, such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, non-refundable parking, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
