Malta & Gozo: A Mediterranean Island Escape
Discover the sun-drenched beauty of Malta and Gozo on a luxurious 10-day journey through one of the Mediterranean’s most captivating island destinations. Golden limestone cities, sparkling blue seas, ancient temples, colourful fishing villages and centuries of fascinating history provide the backdrop for a journey filled with authentic flavours, local encounters and plenty of time to simply enjoy island life.
Our adventure begins on Malta, where we’ll explore the magnificent fortified capital of Valletta, admire the masterpieces of Caravaggio inside St John’s Co-Cathedral and cross the historic Grand Harbour to discover the atmospheric Three Cities. Beyond Malta’s famous landmarks, we’ll experience the island through its people and traditions, learning to make traditional Maltese pastizzi, tasting locally produced wines and cheeses, and wandering among the colourful fishing boats of Marsaxlokk.
We’ll step even further back in time at the UNESCO-listed Ħaġar Qim Temples before trading the mainland for the brilliant blue waters of the Mediterranean as we journey by private boat towards Gozo, with the spectacular waters of Comino and the Blue Lagoon along the way.
On beautiful Gozo, the pace slows and island life takes over. Explore this enchanting island by tuk-tuk and off-road vehicle, discover the prehistoric Ġgantija Temples, wander through villages and dramatic countryside, and take in sweeping views from Victoria’s ancient Citadel. We’ll also taste some of Gozo’s traditional produce before returning to our luxurious resort, where there is time to relax by the pool or indulge at the spa.
Back on Malta, our journey continues through elegant palaces, beautiful gardens and historic villages before arriving in the ancient walled city of Mdina. Known as the Silent City, its narrow honey-coloured streets, grand palazzos and centuries-old architecture make it one of Malta’s most enchanting places.
Throughout the journey, we’ll stay exclusively in beautiful 5-star hotels, balancing carefully curated sightseeing and unique local experiences with generous leisure time to enjoy the Mediterranean way of life.
