Fitness Level

This tour is suited to women with a moderate level of fitness who enjoy being active while travelling.

Throughout the journey, we include a number of scenic walks and hikes ranging from approximately 5–8 km (3–5 miles) on varied terrain. This may include coastal cliff paths, uneven stone surfaces, gravel tracks, sandy beaches and gentle inclines. There are occasional stairs and natural walking surfaces, particularly on the Aran Islands, Gobbins Cliff Path and along coastal headlands.

You do not need to be a serious hiker; however, you should feel comfortable walking for a few hours at a relaxed pace, with regular breaks to enjoy the scenery.

There are opportunities on some days to opt out of longer walks and enjoy free time instead. Overall, this journey is ideal for women who appreciate fresh air, coastal landscapes and exploring destinations on foot.

Day 1 – Sunday 27th September – Arrival in Dublin (D)

Welcome to Ireland.

Upon arrival at Dublin Airport, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the afternoon is yours to rest, freshen up, or take a gentle stroll through the surrounding streets as you begin to soak up the atmosphere of Ireland’s vibrant capital.

This evening, we gather for a welcome dinner at the hotel (or nearby), where you will meet your fellow travellers and your Luxury Women’s Tours hostess. Over delicious Irish cuisine, we raise a glass to the beginning of an unforgettable journey together.

Day 2 – Monday 28th September – From Dublin to Belfast (B, L)

This morning we will head out on a short guided walk of Dublin City with your guide before visiting the iconic Book of Kells and Trinity College. After lunch we will head North for Belfast City.

The evening is yours to explore the many pubs and restaurants of this region.

Day 3 – Tuesday 29th September – The Trouble’s & The Titanic (B,L)

This morning, join a local guide and explore Belfast from the comfort of a black cab. Today you’ll unpack the complicated history of The Troubles, see the city’s murals and peace walls, hear stories of life in Belfast at the height of the conflict, and check out historical photographs with narration from a local man who lived through it.

After lunch, you’ll visit Belfast’s Titanic Experience with your guide. Built-in Belfast’s Harland & Wolff shipyards, the ill-fated Titanic and Belfast’s history are linked forever.

This evening is for you to rest and relax, or wander around this lively city.

Day 4 – Wednesday 30th September – The Causeway Coastal Route (B, L)

Leaving Belfast this morning, your guide will lead you on explorations through the stunning northern coast where you’ll be treated to magnificent views of rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, and charming villages. Your first stop is Gobbins Cliff Path, which takes you along a narrow path, and across spectacular bridges amid the swirling waves below. Traverse hidden tunnels under the Irish Sea, climb rugged staircases carved into the cliff face and duck into caves, once home to smugglers and privateers. Afterwards, follow a stunning coastal route known as the “secret” way to travel along the Causeway Coast!

Transfer to Derry this evening and settle into you luxury hotel . You have the evening free to explore Derry City.

Day 5 – Thursday 1st October – Inishowen Peninsula and Historical Derry (B, L)

Start your morning on the Inishowen peninsula, exploring the many beaches and quaint fishing villages this region has to offer.

Return to Derry in the afternoon for a walking tour of the city, the only remaining completely walled city in Ireland and one of the finest examples of Walled Cities in Europe.

Built in the 17th century, the walls, approximately 1.5km in circumference, form a walkway around the inner city and provide a unique promenade with which to view the layout of the original town. Your private guide will incorporate the tragic events of Jan 30th 1972, when a peaceful protest turned violent, leading to the killing of 14 unarmed men and boys, along with the injury of many others, in an event known as Bloody Sunday, into your guided experience today.

Day 6 – Friday 2nd October – Discover Donegal (B, D)

This morning, we set off early to visit Glenveagh National Park. Take in remote mountain and lake vistas and explore the forlorn castle tucked into a romantic mountain backdrop.

Start the day with a walk through the park before returning to explore the castle grounds and gardens. Enjoy lunch and fresh scones before continuing our journey south through Donegal.

Along the way you will learn of the remote history and crafts of the region. You’ll meet a local weaver who learned his craft at the age of 16 and whose traditional hand loom methods date back centuries.

Return to your hotel relax before joining the group for dinner in Sligo Town this evening.

Day 7 – Saturday 3rd October – Swim and Sauna in Sligo (B, L, D)

This morning, we journey south to Sligo for a truly distinctive day immersed in the raw beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Begin with a guided seaweed foraging experience, learning about the remarkable benefits and traditions rooted in the ocean’s natural bounty.

To fully embrace the spirit of women’s wellness in Ireland, prepare for an invigorating swim and sauna experience on a secluded sandy beach, framed by sweeping views of iconic mountains.

Afterwards, warm up with a cosy lunch in a local café before enjoying a scenic drive back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

This morning we will depart early and continue our journey south again to Ireland’s Capital of Culture, Galway city. After a 3-hour transfer we will arrive in this bohemian city where we go on a food tour to find the many culinary delights the city has to offer. Join us for an enriching experience that promises to ignite your imagination and leave you with cherished memories of Galway’s brilliance.

Day 9 – Monday 5th October – Aran Islands (B, L, D)

We start the day by taking a ferry to the rugged and picturesque Aran Islands. Hike across the island’s unique and stunning landscape of rocky fields, stone walls, and ancient ruins that create a sense of timelessness and natural beauty.

Day 10 – Tuesday 6th October – The Burren & The Cliffs of Moher (B, L, D)

Begin your day with a morning hike through the Burren, an ancient and otherworldly landscape of exposed limestone stretching across County Clare. As you walk, discover the region’s remarkable geology and uncover layers of history revealed through prehistoric tombs and the remains of early settlements.

This afternoon, visit the iconic Cliffs of Moher, where dramatic Atlantic views provide a fitting finale to your journey. Later, gather with your group for celebratory cocktails, toasting an unforgettable week together. Savour a delicious farewell dinner before heading out to local pubs to experience the lively spirit of traditional Irish music.

Day 11 – Wednesday 7th October – Journey to the Kingdom of Kerry (B, L)

Departing early, we travel south toward Killarney National Park in County Kerry, crossing the Shannon Estuary by ferry as the Atlantic waters stretch out around us.

In the afternoon we will head out on a short hike to explore the iconic Killarney National park and stretch our legs after the journey today.

This evening, return to your hotel to relax and enjoy a well-earned rest.

Day 12 – Thursday 8th October – Boats and Baking | The Lakes of Killarney and Muckross House(B, L, D)

Your morning begins aboard a private wooden boat gliding across the serene Lakes of Killarney, the peaks of MacGillycuddy’s Reeks rise in the distance. Later, you’re welcomed into a countryside kitchen for a traditional Irish bread-baking experience, learning to make soda bread using time-honoured family techniques. When the loaves come warm from the oven, you enjoy them with fresh butter and tea, savouring the simple rhythms of Irish landscape and heritage.

Day 14 – Saturday 10th October – Mizen Head and Getting Creative in Cork (B, L)

Departing Killarney early, we travel into the art-filled landscapes of West Cork, pausing for coffee in Glengarriff overlooking Bantry Bay before continuing toward Mizen Head, Ireland’s most southwesterly point. There, you cross the dramatic bridge and take in the Atlantic waves crashing below. After lunch in a quaint rural village, enjoy a hands-on foraging workshop, gathering wild herbs and sea plants to inspire your own piece of artwork. The day ends in Clonakilty, where a relaxed evening awaits. The evening is yours to explore the many restaurants and pubs this lively town has to offer.

Day 15 – Sunday 11th October – West Cork Walking and Perfume Making (B, L , D)

This morning we will head out on a walk along the serene Cork coastline, the fresh salt air and open views set a calm, refreshing tone for the day. Afterwards, head for a perfume-making workshop, learning to blend botanicals inspired by the surrounding landscape. By the end, you leave with a personal fragrance that captures the essence of West Cork.

This afternoon, you’ll have time to shop and explore Clonakilty at your own pace. In the evening, join the group for a farewell dinner, raising a final toast to an unforgettable journey. Enjoy the lively atmosphere as traditional Irish music fills the room, celebrating the memories made along the way.

Please take the time to read and understand the booking terms and conditions prior to booking a trip with us.

Deposits and Payment Schedule

To join any of our captivating Luxury Women’s Tours (LWT) itineraries, a per-person deposit, tailored to your selected trip, is required to confirm and secure your reservation.

The final balance payment must be settled 90 days before your journey begins. If you book within this 90-day window, the full amount becomes due at the time of booking.

In case of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the trip’s start, a full refund is granted, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.

For cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the trip starts, your land component deposits become non-refundable, while all other payments are refunded, with non-refundable supplier or flight charges deducted.

Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.

All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Pricing

Published trip prices include all applicable taxes and are based on shared occupancy. Solo travelers are thoughtfully matched with roommates to avoid additional single supplement fees. Single supplements are available with a surcharge, subject to availability.

Please note that LWT is not responsible for fees related to currency exchange or charges imposed by your credit card company or bank for foreign currency transactions.

All Flight Booking Conditions

Be aware that terms, conditions, and cancellation fees imposed by flight carriers are applicable in accordance with the airline’s policies.

Cancellation by the Client

In case a Client needs to cancel their reservation, we request written notification sent to jamie@luxurywomenstours.com.au.

Upon receiving written confirmation of cancellation from LWT, your reserved spot on the trip will be released, and rebooking availability is not guaranteed.

Refund terms for client-initiated cancellations are as follows:

  • Over 90 days before the trip’s start: Full refund, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
  • Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the trip’s start: Land component deposits become non-refundable, with all other payments refunded, minus non-refundable supplier or flight charges.
  • Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
  • All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Credits

Credits are valid for use within the original year of the trip or the following calendar year, with a total validity period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

These credits can be transferred to another woman, who assumes responsibility for any outstanding balance payments and directly reimburses you for the deposit. However, the replacement participant must meet trip registration requirements and receive approval from LWT.

You can also apply your credits toward the final balance of another trip, provided the request is made at least 90 days before the trip’s start date. Additionally, you have the flexibility to transfer your credits to any other trip or cancel and reapply your credits as many times as needed before the 90-day mark before the trip date, all within the original credit expiry date. Please note that all credits are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Cancellation of a Tour by Luxury Women’s Tours

Our trips are confirmed to depart with a minimum group size booked. LWT reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, though cancellations less than 60 days before departure are rare, except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond LWT’s control.

If LWT cancels a tour before the agreed departure date for reasons other than Force Majeure or the fault of the Client, you have the following options:

  • Choose a substitute tour of equivalent or higher price, paying the difference.
  • Opt for a substitute tour of lower price, receiving the difference in price as a refund.
  • Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.

LWT is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the Client, such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, non-refundable parking, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
