DAY 1: Wednesday 16th July 2025 – Arrival at Uluru

Welcome to Uluru! Upon your arrival at Uluru Airport, our friendly team will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation at Sails in the Desert. After settling in, take some time to relax and enjoy the resort’s amenities.

In the evening, experience a quintessential Australian BBQ dinner, set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. Savor a selection of Australian meats, fresh salads, and your choice of wine, beer, or juice, followed by tea, coffee, and dessert. After dinner, enjoy a stargazing talk (weather permitting) under the vast outback sky, a perfect introduction to the beauty of the Red Centre.

Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel to rest and recharge for the adventures that await.

DAY 2: Thursday 17th July 2025 – Uluru Sunrise and Kata Tjuta Exploration (B)

Start your day early with a magical sunrise experience at Uluru. You’ll travel to the famous Field of Light exhibition, where you can wander through the breathtaking display by internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro. Then, climb a nearby sand dune to witness the sun rise over Uluru with a warm cup of tea or coffee in hand—an unforgettable moment to start your day.

After the sunrise, return to the hotel for a delicious breakfast at Sails in the Desert.

Later in the morning, visit the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to learn more about the park’s Indigenous heritage and the cultural significance of the area. Enjoy the rest of your morning at leisure back at the resort.

In the afternoon, head to the stunning Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) for a guided walk through Walpa Gorge, a dramatic natural formation with towering red rock walls. The day ends with sunset drinks and canapés, where you can watch the changing colors of the desert landscape as the sun dips below the horizon.

Return to your hotel for a restful evening.

DAY 3: Friday 18th July 2025 – Uluru – Kings Canyon (B,D)

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic journey from Uluru to Kings Canyon, traveling through the dramatic landscape of the Red Centre. Along the way, you’ll pass by Curtin Springs and get a glimpse of the impressive Mount Conner (Atila), often mistaken for Uluru due to its striking flat-topped appearance.

Upon arrival at Kings Canyon, take some time to relax and soak in the serene surroundings of this rugged and majestic location.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious group dinner at Carmichael’s Restaurant in the resort, featuring a two-course banquet with local flavors.

DAY 4: Saturday 19th July 2025 – Kings Canyon to Alice Springs (B,L,D)

After breakfast at the hotel from 6:00 am, depart at 6:30 am to meet your guide and begin the climb to the rim of Kings Canyon. For those with a good level of fitness, you will be rewarded with marvelous views of Watarrka National Park. Alternatively, you can explore the boulder-strewn creek bed—a shady, easier walk between the canyon’s sheer walls.

Continue the 3-hour walk around the canyon with your guide, learning about the geology and history of this incredible natural formation. Take a moment to rest and enjoy the peacefulness of the Garden of Eden.

Afterwards, we will make our way to Alice Springs, stopping for lunch at Erldunda Roadhouse, where a picnic lunch of a wrap, piece of fruit, water, cheese, and biscuits will be provided.

In the evening, immerse yourself in a unique and authentic outback experience set in the remote East MacDonnell Ranges. This fun-filled evening of entertainment and outback cuisine takes you back to the old-time cattle camp. You will enjoy a mouth-watering meal of prime Australian beef and the best the land has to offer, paired with cold beer, wine, or soft drinks from the Aussie Bush Bar.

Underneath a chandelier of stars, you will be entertained by an authentic bush balladeer, singing timeless Australian songs. The music and stories shared will provide a rare insight into the life of early Australian Outback cattlemen, with tales of survival in the harsh land that are truly captivating.

Throughout the evening, The Aussie Bush Bar will serve a supply of bottled red or white wine, beer, or soft drinks, all included in the price. The impeccable food includes a tantalising array of unique Australian dishes, leaving you fully satisfied after a memorable night.

After your evening event, return to the hotel to rest before your next day of touring.

Day 5: Sunday 20th July 2025 – Alice Springs day touring (B)

After breakfast, you will be picked up to visit Alice Springs Desert Park—home to a vast range of plants and wildlife native to the area. You’ll experience the beauty and diversity of this incredible landscape. The Arrernte people, traditional owners of the park, are also on hand to share their local wisdom and knowledge.

After visiting Alice Springs Desert Park, lunch will be at your own expense en route (your driver will provide options).

Arrive at the Historic Telegraph Station—the first European settlement in Alice Springs—and learn how it relayed messages between Darwin and Adelaide for 60 years.

Visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service, which delivers medical services to those who live and work in remote rural Australia.

Stop by the School of the Air, which provides education to primary school children living on remote properties in the Northern Territory.

Your final destination for the day tour will be ANZAC Hill, for a photo opportunity.

Return to your hotel back in Alice Springs.

Day 6: Monday 21st July 2025- Alice Springs to Darwin (B,D)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then prepare for your departure. You’ll be transferred from your hotel to Alice Springs Airport for your morning flight to Darwin.

Upon arrival in Darwin, a former frontier outpost and gateway to Kakadu National Park, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, exploring the vibrant city of Darwin.

This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the Darwin Waterfront Restaurant. Indulge in a three-course meal with wine at Wharf One restaurant, with two drinks included. After dinner, you will make your own way back to the hotel for a relaxing night.

Day 7: Tuesday 22nd July 2025 – Darwin – City Sights Tour (B)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then embark on a guided City Sights Tour of Darwin. You will visit key attractions, including the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, showcasing indigenous art and local history, and the Darwin Aviation Museum, where you can explore a fascinating collection of aircraft. The tour also includes a stroll through the lush Darwin Botanical Gardens, filled with tropical flora.

After the tour, return to your hotel for a relaxing afternoon at your own leisure. Take the time to explore Darwin’s vibrant city center, grab a bite at one of the local cafes, or unwind at the hotel.

Dinner will be at your own arrangements, allowing you to explore Darwin’s culinary delights at your own pace.

Day 8: Wednesday 23rd July 2025 – Private Litchfield Tour (B,L)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day private tour of Litchfield National Park. Explore the stunning waterfalls, including Florence Falls, Tolmer Falls, and Wangi Falls. You’ll have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in some of the crystal-clear plunge pools. Learn about the unique flora and fauna from your knowledgeable guide, and don’t miss the chance to see the incredible Magnetic Termite Mounds, standing tall like natural compasses.

Lunch today will be a barbecue-style picnic, surrounded by the natural beauty of the park. After a full day of adventure, return to your hotel in Darwin for an evening at leisure. Dinner is at your own arrangement, giving you the chance to explore local restaurants.

Day 9: Thursday 24th July 2025 – Tiwi Islands Day Trip (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll transfer to Cullen Bay and board a ferry for a scenic journey to the Tiwi Islands. Today, you’ll explore the rich culture and traditions of the Tiwi people on a guided tour. Visit the local art centre, where you’ll witness traditional fabric printing and painting, and enjoy an insight into the unique lifestyle of the island’s community.

Lunch will be served on the islands, giving you time to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, enjoy more cultural activities and perhaps purchase some local art as a special memento of your visit. Afterward, you’ll take the ferry back to Darwin.

Spend your evening at leisure, with dinner at your own arrangement, allowing you the freedom to discover Darwin’s vibrant dining scene.

Day 10: Friday 25th July 2025 – Darwin to Kakadu National Park (B,L)

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll depart for a day of exploring the stunning landscapes of Kakadu National Park. Your journey will take you to some of the most breathtaking spots in the park, starting with a visit to Nourlangie, a site rich with Aboriginal rock art. Your guide will provide detailed interpretations of the ancient art and share stories of the rich cultural heritage of the area.

Next, you’ll continue to Cooinda Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Afterward, prepare for one of the highlights of your adventure – the Yellow Waters Sunset Billabong Cruise. As you glide through the serene billabong, you’ll spot a variety of bird species, estuarine crocodiles, and other wildlife, all while enjoying the stunning views of the floodplains.

After your cruise, you’ll visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre, where you can explore exhibits on Aboriginal culture and the natural history of Kakadu.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll return to your accommodation at the Mercure Crocodile Hotel, where the rest of the evening is yours to relax or explore at your leisure.

Day 11: Saturday 26th July 2025 – Kakadu National Park to Arnhemland (B,D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before bidding farewell to your Driver Guide at the local airport and boarding a flight to Mt Borradaile. Please pack a soft bag weighing 12-15 kg, as your remaining luggage will be stored for your return to Kakadu before heading to Katherine.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a representative from Davidson’s Arnhemland Safaris. Nestled in a landscape of rugged ranges, billabongs, floodplains, paperbark swamps, and monsoonal rainforests, this stunning wilderness has been home to the Amurdak people for over 50,000 years.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at the camp’s dining room, the social hub of Mt Borradaile, before relaxing in the comfortable safari lounge.

Day 12: Sunday 27th July 2025 – Arnhem Land Safari Lodge (B,L,D)

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the lodge. This morning, embark on a guided tour to discover ancient galleries of Aboriginal rock art, including stories from more recent times that depict Aboriginal contact with other cultures. After exploring, return to the lodge for lunch and unwind by the pool.

In the afternoon, visit another culturally significant site, where you’ll learn about the different techniques used in rock paintings and how styles evolved over thousands of years.

End the day with a serene sunset cruise, sipping wine or beer and enjoying nibbles as you take in the stunning surroundings. Dinner will be served back at the lodge.

Day 13: Monday 28th July 2025 – Arnhemland to Kakadu and Katherine (B,L,D)

Start your day with breakfast at Davidson’s Arnhemland Safari Lodge. After breakfast, depart by flight to Kakadu National Park and continue your journey towards Katherine.

On the way, stop off at Ubirr to view ancient Aboriginal rock art and take a guided walk with your driver, who will provide insights into the significance of the rock art and stories that have been passed down through generations.

Next, enjoy lunch at Mercure Crocodile Kakadu, and then journey onward to Katherine, arriving in the late afternoon at Cicada Lodge. This stunning, five-star eco-lodge is nestled in the heart of Nitmiluk National Park, offering luxury and nature in harmony. Upon arrival, relax and unwind by the pool, taking in the tranquil surroundings.

As the sun sets, enjoy sunset drinks and nibbles, followed by a delicious dinner at the lodge.

Day 14: Tuesday 29th July 2025 – Katherine day touring (B,L,D)

Begin your day with a relaxing breakfast at Cicada Lodge, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Nitmiluk National Park.

This morning, immerse yourself in the local Aboriginal culture with a special experience led by Manual Pamkal. He will welcome you with a traditional tune played on the didgeridoo and share stories of growing up in the bush. You will also have the opportunity to try your hand at rarrk painting, using a special brush made from reeds, and create your own masterpiece to take home.

This evening indulge on a special sunset dinner cruise along Katherine River. You’ll marvel at the gorges while you spot wildlife and learn about the history and culture of the local Jawoyn people. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance during the candle-lit three course dinner cooked on board your boat.

Day 15: Wednesday 30th July 2025 – Katherine to Darwin (B,D)

A later start this morning to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Then begin our journey north on the Stuart Highway to comence our return to Darwin.

This morning we visit the Adelaide River War Memorial. During WWII, Adelaide River was the headquarters to a large military base and a large cemetery was created especially for those who gave their lives in the service and defence of their country.

Stop in at Maysie’s Café, Pine Creek for a comfort stop and refreshments (own expense).

Visit Adelaide River Cemetery.
Final Stop will be at the famous Humpty Doo Hotel for a late lunch (Own expense) before returning to Darwin for your final night.

Transfer from you’re your hotel by coach to your Farewell Dinner on Darwin Harbour Cruises (Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise) – Includes 1 glass of wine/beer/soft drink on arrival.

After your Darwin Harbour Cruise Dinner – Transfer back to your hotel for your last Night in the NT.

Please take the time to read and understand the booking terms and conditions prior to booking a trip with us.

Deposits and Payment Schedule

To join any of our captivating Luxury Women’s Tours (LWT) itineraries, a per-person deposit, tailored to your selected trip, is required to confirm and secure your reservation.

The final balance payment must be settled 90 days before your journey begins. If you book within this 90-day window, the full amount becomes due at the time of booking.

In case of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the trip’s start, a full refund is granted, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.

For cancellations made between 90 and 60 days before the trip starts, your land component deposits become non-refundable, while all other payments are refunded, with non-refundable supplier or flight charges deducted.

Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.

All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Pricing

Published trip prices include all applicable taxes and are based on shared occupancy. Solo travelers are thoughtfully matched with roommates to avoid additional single supplement fees. Single supplements are available with a surcharge, subject to availability.

Please note that LWT is not responsible for fees related to currency exchange or charges imposed by your credit card company or bank for foreign currency transactions.

All Flight Booking Conditions

Be aware that terms, conditions, and cancellation fees imposed by flight carriers are applicable in accordance with the airline’s policies.

Cancellation by the Client

In case a Client needs to cancel their reservation, we request written notification sent to jamie@luxurywomenstours.com.au.

Upon receiving written confirmation of cancellation from LWT, your reserved spot on the trip will be released, and rebooking availability is not guaranteed.

Refund terms for client-initiated cancellations are as follows:

  • Over 90 days before the trip’s start: Full refund, with deductions for non-refundable supplier deposits and non-refundable flight expenses.
  • Cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the trip’s start: Land component deposits become non-refundable, with all other payments refunded, minus non-refundable supplier or flight charges.
  • Cancellations occurring 59 days or fewer before the trip starts result in all land tour component payments, including the deposit, being non-refundable.
  • All flights are subject to airline terms and conditions.

Credits

Credits are valid for use within the original year of the trip or the following calendar year, with a total validity period of 24 months from the date of issuance.

These credits can be transferred to another woman, who assumes responsibility for any outstanding balance payments and directly reimburses you for the deposit. However, the replacement participant must meet trip registration requirements and receive approval from LWT.

You can also apply your credits toward the final balance of another trip, provided the request is made at least 90 days before the trip’s start date. Additionally, you have the flexibility to transfer your credits to any other trip or cancel and reapply your credits as many times as needed before the 90-day mark before the trip date, all within the original credit expiry date. Please note that all credits are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Cancellation of a Tour by Luxury Women’s Tours

Our trips are confirmed to depart with a minimum group size booked. LWT reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, though cancellations less than 60 days before departure are rare, except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond LWT’s control.

If LWT cancels a tour before the agreed departure date for reasons other than Force Majeure or the fault of the Client, you have the following options:

  • Choose a substitute tour of equivalent or higher price, paying the difference.
  • Opt for a substitute tour of lower price, receiving the difference in price as a refund.
  • Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract.

LWT is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the Client, such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, non-refundable parking, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
